Yes! Your new cell phone case with a strap is completely vegan, low in pollutants, based on plant materials as well as an upcycling product! Our cell phone cases are made of a specially developed bioplastic, which is based mainly on plant starch (PLA). PLA is one of the bioplastics which are made from renewable raw materials, meaning they are bio-based as well as compostable. Our used organic material is even certified according to European Standard EN 13432 for compostability. In addition, we use straw and grain, which are harvest leftovers. By an upcycling process, these are incorporated into the innovative bioplastic and serve for additional strength.

Please note that currently not all colors and models are fully compostable and have different material compositions (See next FAQ item).

Additionally, the iPhone crossbody case is free of BPA, lead, cadmium and phthalates, REACH certified and thanks to its antimicrobial formula protects against bacteria & germs!

This depends on the specific model. Some models of ours are so far only fully compostable under industrial conditions. Unfortunately, a high proportion of plant material means that especially light-coloured products are more susceptible to discoloration and scratches. When improving our products, we take your customer feedback to heart and have therefore decided to make some colors more resistant. Thus, some models contain 18% TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). Through this we create a longer life and ultimately reduce the consumption of iPhone cases. These can still be recycled in our production! And we have set as a firm goal to develop the best possible and most sustainable materials and hope to soon convert our complete product family to full compostability. You can find the different levels of compostability in the listing below:


Fully compostable cell phone case (100% organic material):

Model: Black, Cool Gray, Citrus Yellow, Coral Pink.

Ingredients: PLA, Straw, Wheat. The material is free of BPA, lead, cadmium, phthalates and REACH certified!

Good to know: Please note that the decomposition time for home and industrial composting varies greatly and also depends on the nature of the compost site. Therefore, it can take anywhere from six months to two years for your case to compost. However, you can also just send it back to us and we will recycle it for you!


Recyclable Cell Phone Case (Partially Compostable/ 82% Organic Material):

Model: Taupe Brown, Rusty Orange, Pastel Blue, Pastel Green.

Ingredients: PLA, straw, wheat, TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). The material is free of BPA, lead, cadmium, phthalates and REACH certified!

Good to know: Even our cases that are not fully compostable can be completely recycled in our production process and thus recycled for new products! Instead of disposing of the case, just send it back to us and we'll recycle it for you, saving you 30%.


Note: Since PLA is made of polylactic acid, you may notice a light film (smears) appearing on your organic case especially after a long period of non-use. Don't be alarmed - this is a completely natural reaction of the organic material and can be wiped off quite easily. Please also note that for the composting process (for the 100% organic cases) the inner lining in the iPhone case must be pulled out (see also insert sheet)!

Through our innovative organic material, we can recycle your used iPhone necklace in production and reuse almost completely! With your help we can thus conserve important raw materials, save energy costs, produce more sustainably and create new products! So if you don't feel like using your cell phone chain anymore, please don't throw it in the trash, just send it back to us. Your plant-based phone case does not require any special care. The cover can be easily wiped with a damp cloth and even normal weather conditions, such as rain showers, do not bother your iPhone case. However, it should still be protected from strong moisture, heat, cold or sunlight.

Please note: We work with completely sustainable, low-pollutant materials and use no sealants like other plastic cases (see FAQs on material). Therefore, the colour of your case may change over time and may also rub off faster. Depending on your usage and lifestyle, this can also cause minor scratches in the surface. To keep your sustainable case clean for a long time, make sure that your case has no contact with easily staining clothes or other staining materials, e.g. direct contact with makeup should also be avoided. We are already working on other natural solutions to make our cases even better and more durable!

For our Bumper Case, optimal protection has the highest priority! To ensure a safe drop-down protection a certain amount of padding and strength is needed. Unfortunately, that means that the reinforced case cannot guarantee a secure hold for PopSockets and other products.

Absolutely! All our iPhone 12 & 13 cases are compatible with Apple's MagSafe technology and can be easily charged with the MagSafe Wireless Charger. You can get even faster charging power of up to 15W by simply placing the charger exactly in line with the Apple logo on your iPhone. You should feel a magnetic pull and the MagSafe logo will appear on your iPhone display - and just like that your iPhone is charging!
